Daniel C. Fernández

(Mexico, 1997). His interest in the city stems from its plastic richness. The Artist works with different media from thinking about the processes of urbanization and transformation of the urban landscape. He is interested in rethinking the social, political, and economic relations that are established between the center and the periphery from living and experiencing urban life, finding in it possibilities of creation.

Graduated in Visual Arts by Facultad de Arte y Diseño, UNAM. His work has been selected in Bienal Nacional Artemergente, Monterrey (2019)  and in Bienal Parámetro 03 in Museo de la Ciudad de México (2018). He has participated two times in the program Revisión de Proyectos Artísticos, ICDAC-MUAC, Facultad de Arte y Diseño, México City (2018,1019).

He was part of the seminar Apropiación, historia y crítica de arte. Taller de análisis y producción de arte, by Daniel Montero. Recently he was part of an artistic residence in Cobertizo, Jilotepec, Mexico.
